Major General Dr. Samir Farag: Cairo rejects the Israeli Prime Minister’s maneuver to cancel the Rafah crossing and impose a Rafah-2 crossing.
The US president is the only one – and no one else – capable of forcing Israel to implement the agreement.

Major General Dr. Samir Farag, the strategic thinker, stated that the Prime Minister of “Israel” does not want weapons, and is evading prosecution for the corruption files in which he is involved by further aggression and arbitrary measures to continue negotiating indefinitely, fabricating one pretext after another, the latest of which is the refusal to open the Rafah crossing from both sides, as agreed upon in the first phase of the peace agreement signed in Sharm El-Sheikh.
Instead, Netanyahu resorted to inventing the idea of a new crossing – after announcing the agreement with US President Donald Trump – which is the idea of moving the border crossing to the Kerem Abu Salem crossing, and he named it (on his own authority): Rafah Crossing – 2!
Major General Dr. Samir Farag stressed Cairo’s rejection of these unilateral decisions, and that it will call on America to pressure the Prime Minister of “Israel” to back down from these measures that would hinder the establishment of peace in Gaza and the region.
He explained that the US president is the only one – and no one else – capable of forcing Israel to implement the agreement.
