The Distinction Between True Cosmic Consciousness And False Cosmic Consciousness…
⊚ by: Egyptian writer | Amr AbduLRahman

◙ Introduction:
◙ The ancient Egyptians believed in sacred cosmic sciences, rooted in their faith in divine messages and the mission of Osiris—historically believed to be Idris (peace be upon him). The Western world uses the Greek pronunciation, which adds an “s” to the name: Osiris.
.
◙ Thus, Osiris was the messenger of the One God—the Creator of the universe from absolute nothingness—through the utterance of the Word; that is, by the command “Be, and it is.” This is according to the theological texts discovered at the temple of On (Iunu) near the city of *Men-Nefer*—also known as *Inbu-Hedj* (“White Walls”)—a name the Greeks later altered to Memphis (Μέμφις).
.
◙ The theological texts state that Ptah—the Creator God—created the earth from nothingness by uttering the Word; that is, by the command “Be, and it is Existed out of Nothing..”
.
◙ Note – [Ptah]: A divine attribute signifying the “Creator God.” It does not refer to the specific deity Ptah, as claimed by the Greeks, Romans, Western colonialist scholars, and others.
.
◙ Similarly, the name of the [Men-Nefer] plateau was altered to the “Giza Plateau”—in Arabic—rather than retaining its original designation from the sacred Egyptian script.
.
◙ Just as one of the names for the land of Egypt—[Geb-Ptah], meaning “Land of the Creator God”—was transformed into “Egypt“!
.
☀ The Peril of False Consciousness
.
◙ This is how we must read the texts of sacred knowledge: through the lens of cosmic consciousness—encompassing the sciences and sacred geometry of the universe. This marks the distinction of the Egyptian understanding of cosmic sciences—a true cosmic consciousness.
.
◙ It conflates human awareness of cosmic sciences with ideas that blend ancient Greco-Indo-European esoteric philosophies and cosmological physics—specifically drawing on certain derivatives of quantum theory—under the guise of “Cosmic Consciousness.” This is, without a doubt, a false form of consciousness.
.
◙ Why?
◙ This spurious “Cosmic Consciousness” posits a divine-cosmic unity—a union of the Divine with the cosmos, and of humanity with the Divine—through a “shared consciousness,” all based on the doctrine of the “unity of existence” (pantheism).
.
◙ This definition was formulated by a psychiatrist named Richard Maurice Bucke in 1901 in his book *Cosmic Consciousness*;
◙ He claimed that the cosmos is eternal and everlasting—just like the Divine;
◙ Consequently, he argued that it has neither beginning nor end and was not created *ex nihilo* (out of nothing), thereby denying the Creator’s power to create.
.
◙ Based on this concept of “total unity,” the universe emanates from the Divine Essence and shares the same substance; consequently, like the Divine, it is living, spiritual, vibrant, and immortal.
◙ It merely undergoes a transition—shifting from a material state to a wave state, and vice versa—in an eternal, ceaseless cycle.
.
◙ Concurrently, certain derivatives of quantum theories emerged—linked to ancient esoteric philosophies—positing a single, shared essence for both the universe and the Divine. They argue that parts appearing separate are, in fact, deeply interconnected—a phenomenon described as “Quantum Entanglement.”
.
◙ This concept holds that two particles, even when separated by vast distances, behave as a single entity—reflecting the idea of ”All is One” and the absence of separation—thereby linking the quantum universe with the philosophy of the unity of existence (*Wahdat al-Wujud*).
.
◙ Similarly, the concept of the “Quantum Field” suggests that matter and energy emerge from a single, surging sea of space-time and fields.
.
◙ Some physicists, such as David Bohm, have reconciled these two opposites within an “Implicate Order,” linking the concept of the oneness of existence (monism) with particle physics.
.
☀ The universe is a quantum state—without a deity!
.
◙ Under the banner “All is One,” we see the convergence of ancient monist philosophy and the physics of quantum entanglement, as explored in the theories of quantum scientists like Heinrich Päs—a professor of theoretical physics at the Technical University of Dortmund, Germany;
◙ He is the author of *The Perfect Wave: With Neutrinos at the Boundary of Space and Time* (2014);
◙ The Perfect Wave: With Neutrinos at the Boundary of Space and Time
◙ And the author of *The One: How an Ancient Idea Holds the Future of Physics – (2023 ;

.
◙ Heinrich Päs is a theoretical physicist and professor at TU Dortmund University in Germany; his work aligns with a naturalistic, monistic worldview rather than traditional religious beliefs.
.
◙ He currently holds the position of Professor of Theoretical Physics at TU Dortmund University. His research interests include particle physics and cosmology.
.
◙ He earned his PhD from Heidelberg University in 1999, based on research conducted at the Max Planck Institute. Scientific Monism and the concept of “The One”: In his book The ◙ One: How an Ancient Idea Holds the Future of Physics, Päs presents an argument supporting “quantum monism.”
.
◙ Baas rejects the reality of God;
◙ proposing instead that the universe is a mathematical and physical quantum state transcending time, from which spatial and temporal dimensions emerge through the process of “quantum decoherence.”
